On behalf of the Maldives Anaesthesiologists Association (MAA), we welcome you to the SAARC-AA Congress 2026 - the 15th International Congress of Anaesthesiologists of SAARC Countries.
This prestigious regional congress will be hosted in the Maldives, the Sunny Side of Life, on the beautiful island of Ukulhas, renowned for its vibrant island hospitality. This marks the first time the Maldives will host this prestigious biennial event.
The congress is organised under the SAARC-AA regional body and endorsed by the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA), bringing together anaesthesiologists, critical care specialists, and pain physicians from South Asia and across the globe.
This year's theme, "Shared Regional Knowledge for a Unified Impact," reflects our collective commitment to advancing anaesthesia safety, improving clinical outcomes, and fostering meaningful collaboration across South Asia.
